This User Agreement is a contract between you and Slip Pay Technologies Pte Ltd governing your use of your Slip Pay (“Slip”) account and the Slip services.
You agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions in this User Agreement. We may revise this User Agreement from time to time. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it, unless otherwise stated. If our changes reduce your rights or increase your responsibilities, we will provide notice to you of at least 21 days. We reserve the right to amend this agreement at any time without notice, subject to applicable law. By continuing to use our services after any changes to this User Agreement become effective, you agree to abide and be bound by those changes. If you do not agree with any changes to this User Agreement, you may close your account.
Opening a Slip Account
We offer accounts for two types of purposes: 1) making a payment, and 2) receiving a payment for retail sales. You may only create one account to either make or receive payments for retail purposes. To create a payment account, you must be a resident of a country which Stripe supports. To create an account to receive payments, you must be a resident of a country where Stripe Express is supported.
Closing your Slip Account
You may close your account and terminate your relationship with us without cost, but you will remain liable for all obligations related to your Slip account even after account closure. Any incomplete transactions must be completed or canceled before account closure.
Link or Unlink a Payment Method
As a payment user you can add a debit card or a credit card as a payment method. You may remove your payment at any time via the ‘Settings’ panel in the mobile app.
If you are a merchant (payment recipient), you will need to connect a Stripe Express account to Slip’s platform. You may disconnect at any time.
Transferring Money Received out of Slip
Money received via Slip transactions are held with Stripe. Funds held in your Stripe account may be transferred by:
You have the right to receive an account statement showing your Slip activity. You may view your Slip activity via the ‘Activity’ page on the mobile app or by logging on the Slip website (www.slip-pay.com).
Active Account Fees and Minimum Withdrawal Balance
Slip as a Stripe platform operator may it its discretion impose or change a monthly active account fee for users receiving payments. Moreover, Slip reserves the right to impose or change the minimum withdrawal limits before a merchant can withdrawal funds to their bank account.
As a merchant payment receiver, you agree to hold Slip harmless of any liability arising from differences between the gross amount paid and net amount received as a result of payment processor fees and Slip’s own fees for enabling the payment.
Moreover, Slip reserves the right to modify or change the percentage it charges merchants subject to written notice.
Slip offers refunds for shoppers up to 5 days after the time of purchase subject to mutual agreement between the shopper and merchant. Slip is unable to provide refunds after the 5 day period from your date of purchase.
The 5 day period shall commence from the timestamp of your purchase as recorded by Slip.
Privacy & Data Protection
You agree that Slip including but not limited to, the graphics, user interface, video clips, wristbands, payment flows used to implement the electronic payment service contains proprietary information and materials owned by Slip Pay Technologies Pte Ltd, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright. You agree that you will not use such proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except for the use of Slip as a payment mechanism for electronic payments in compliance with this User Agreement.
You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Slip payment mechanism in any manner, and you shall not exploit the Slip payment service in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to, by trespass or burdening network capacity.
